Happy Father's Day!

Words cannot express how much Chad means to me as a father. From the day Ryan was born, he has stepped up and done what some fathers NEVER do. He changes diapers, feeds them, gives baths, and much more on a daily basis. He also plays with each of them. Ryan's favorite activity with Daddy is going golfing. He loves to be just like Daddy. Jax loves to be thrown in the air and tickled by Daddy. He is such an amazing father. Our boys are so lucky to have him as their Daddy.
Today to celebrate, we started out the day with yummy waffles and Ryan gave Chad a Father's Day card. It was a Sesame Street card that he picked out at the store just for Daddy. He was so excited to give it to him and say, "Happy Father's Day!"
Then we tried out our first church...Trinity Evangelical Free Church, which is literally right around the corner from our house. We liked some aspects but not sure if it is the church for us. They did a little bit of a contest during the service for dad's and Chad won a $15 gift card to Lowes. Not to bad for our first time!
After church (we were home by 10:30am), we made steaks, corn, fruit salad, and cake for lunch. We also bought yummy Jo Jo's, which the Sayers got us addicted too! Since it was too early for naps after lunch, we decided to go to Beaver Creek Reservation. It has a small walking trail (1.5 miles), a bike town, and a small playground. The kids and I had walked there twice earlier this week with Marie but Chad hadn't seen it. We walked the trail then Ryan rode his bike and played for a little while. It was great family time and I got some great photos!

After naps, we started a fire in our new firepit. The Sayers came over and we made s'mores. The kids had fun jumping on the trampoline. I even got on and did a front flip. They were pretty impressed. I was shocked I can still do one! It was a WONDERFUL day!
