Christmas Cookies and Caroling

On Monday night, Ryan, Chad, and I made Christmas cookies. Well, we cheated a bit, (ok, A LOT) I got the sheets of cookie dough made by Pillsbury and we cut out LOTS of yummy cookies in every shape and size. After a while Ryan took charge and didn't really want us to help. He made some REALLY yummy cookies. Jaxson decided to just hang out and watch this year :).

The BEST part!

Tonight, we took all the cookies we made and went "Christmas Caroling" to our neighbors to give them their cookies. Ryan was adorable knocking on the door, handing them their cookies, and then singing "Jingle Bells". They all REALLY enjoyed it. It was bitterly cold. We kept Jaxson bundled up in his sling. He ended up falling asleep at the end.

After Christmas caroling, we read a child's book version of the Christmas story to Ryan and Jaxson. Then Ryan made a picture of the Holy family in the stable.

One more day til Christmas!! We can hardly wait, can you?
